For nearly three years, I’ve been studying and chronicling the radical fringe of the online “Reformed” world, as both a member of that broader theological tradition and a longtime student of the authoritarian political ideologies being laundered through those extreme ends.
Wagner used to be Anglican, but he has converted to Catholicism. He is under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte.
His YouTube Channel (Scholastic Answers) is expressly Roman Catholic, and his thoughts and ideologies are becoming increasingly popular in Catholic circles. Trent Horn and Joe Heschmeyer have recommended his videos multiple times. He was even in a recent Catholic Content Creator Conference.
I'm glad that Mahler was excommunicated by the LCMS, but it's not like there aren't other issues within the Denomination. Feel free to read the below article.
I maintain my stance that this is a Universal Christian Issue, and not restricted to the Reformed community.
Thanks for the update. I didn't know he converted. Can you link me to something he's written that you consider on par with Facey, who has openly allied himself with Sacra Press, where he's pushing Holocaust denial?
I do not have anything quite on that level, but I do know that he publically defended PineSap on Twitter. PineSap was the Open Fascists on the recent Jubilee video with Hasan Medhi.
All I have of what it said is,
“Defending my friend Pinesap.
I was going to do a longer video on this or something, but I figured I would rather write my thoughts since the written word is less liable to be abused by unscrupulous men.”
Unfortunately, the tweet is now deleted, and I don’t have a screenshot. However, the tweet went on to defend why Fascism, and Franco’s form of it in particular, are Catholic positions when understood rightly.
Wish I had something better to comment than "AMEN," but sometimes the oldies are the besties. How I tire of these small men that everyone seems too afraid of to DO SOMETHING.
With the likes of Corey Mahler in the Lutheran community, Paul Facey in the Anglican Community, and Christian Wagner in the Catholic Community, this problem is not exclusive to the Reformed sphere, whether Baptist or Presbyterian.
Traditionalist Catholics, Sedevacantists, Anglo-Catholics, Ortho-Nationalists - there are so many groups that support these ideologies. The reason you only see it in the Reformed Sphere is because they have the best Social Media influence.
You'll see it blatantly in the other groups soon enough. This isn't denominational problem. It's a problem in Christianity as a whole.
Mahler was excommunicated by the LCMS. Christian Wagner is also a (Reformed) Anglican, like Facey. Wagner and CJay Engel are associated with the The North American Anglican, recently acquired by American Reformer. So I'd definitely put Reformed Anglicanism in the same bucket as the Presbyterians and Reformed Baptists, though I think the problem is more prevalent in the Presby and Baptist sphere.

This is where the tweet used to be. I don’t know if what use that may be to you.
There is also the debate review with Facey over the Mahler v. White debate, which can be found here.

Wagner used to have it up on his channel, too, for free, but has now monetized the video such that you have to be a paid member to watch it.
In the YouTube video, he explicitly blames the Jews for the evils in the world, although it is done in a jokey tone.
Nothing as bad or as explicit as Facey, but it’s quite clear he shares the same views. I’m sorry if this is not helpful to you.
It's very helpful, thank you.

I saw this with a heavy heart as a Christian.
