Revilers Will Not Inherit the Kingdom
Because of my writings against so-called Reformed Christian Nationalism, my private messages have long been a steady stream of “Have you seen this?” This morning didn’t disappoint, as I received notification that the “Executive Director” of American Reformer (doing business as the Center for Baptist Leadership) William Wolfe had a not uncommon evening of derogating and reviling people on the internet. Here’s what bold, Baptist leadership looks like, in chronological order:
Christian Nationalism likes to present itself as a masculine movement of strong manly men regaining Christian manliness, but, in reality, its mascot is a keyboard warrior sitting in the back of an empty conference room, with his face buried in his phone, reviling a reporter with a mode of effeminate bullying one normally only sees from teenage mean girls, instead of having the actual manliness to simply stand up, turn around and say something to his face. Revilers will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
